Changing asset IDs

This tool allows you to customize asset IDs with meaningful names. This tool is often used by customers so they can easily identify assets used in projects.

1. In the Asset Settings page, use the default setting of All device types or select a device type. When assets are displayed for All device types, the device types are displayed in a Device Type column. To quickly find an asset, use the Predictive Search feature. Select ID or S/N and enter characters in the Search field. The Predictive Search feature filters the assets to match the entered characters as you type.

2. Select multiple or all assets, and then select Actions bar  / Configure. This configuration is limited to a maximum of 10 assets at a time.
3. Select Asset ID.
4. Enter a unique asset ID.

5. Select Save.
